UiTM Kedah’s Law Society held its elections for the society’s High Committee…

As always, before the election date, there is always the manifesto, a place and time for candidates to lay out their promises for the society, and now, I’m am going to review some of the things said by certain candidates… or rather a gist of what they said…

Do not elect and extraordinary person, instead elect someone ordinary who’s dedicated

Normally I’d agree to such a statement, but due to recent occurrences, I believe that we need extraordinary leaders to do things that no ordinary person would, one who sees slightly further than other, a man of pure talent and intellect. You put someone like that in a position of power, and make him serve the needs of any organization. Imagine that person leading a group of “ordinary” people.

I shall ensure that we shall be unified, and with unity shall we ensure that the projects planned shall happen

In my personal opinion, this is as mislead as anyone will ever get. Though admittedly most activities planned have different objectives and aims, one can never deny that a single omnipresent element exists within every single activity. Simply put, these activities and projects is what unite us. Here, we provide a ground for groups of people to interact with one another, and from that and only that can we foster unity. Hence, the belief that one has to unite the whole group before one can carry out activities is mislead.

Personally, it’s been a while, and those are the only memorable manifestos for me. Everything else is either unmemorable or lack controversial merit. But still, the best manifesto goes to the Sports and Recreational EXCO member.

My personal manifesto was considerably controversial. Personally, I refused to use the opportunity to make huge promises – which I believe some were relatively erroneous and misleading if not borderline impractical – to the society with beautiful words and flowery language, instead, I used to opportunity to tell the society what I personally am capable of. To enlighten them of the background of the person they would entrust to lead them. To those who had faith in me, I thank you, for those who didn’t think I deserved their support, watch me lead and convince you otherwise.

KL Best Actor 2007 - A few hours later I was aiming to win the national championships

VC Cup 2008 - Ranked 16, A few minutes later I was planning on how best to train the teamand myself to win the VC Cup for Kedah before I go to Shah Alam

GPA for Semester 1 - Got of with a 4.0 GPA, 30 minutes later was aiming at achieving the same for my next semester

People would say having a goal and stuff gives on purpose making life more bearable, I admit it is true, but when you do what I do, you miss out on savoring these achievements

I've always been instructed to perform, and be the best in any matter to which I partake in... I've always been told to go through my exams with flying colours and that I should always be one step ahead then the other... In a manner of speaking, I was raised with the belief that being second is being the first in a long line of losers...

And this aspect of my school years was later assimilated into how I now live my life... growing up thinking that one should always be the best, made me only aim for the best in life, and settling for just enough will never be an option for me, I shall accept "just enough" as a short term solution, but I will indeed zealously attempt to get what is best, and nothing in the world will ever stop me...

For me, life's too short to settle for "just enough"

Nobody is perfect, one hell of a cliche, but it ain't gonna stop me for trying...

I'm well known for my relatively practical and cold approach towards Death... as to how I see as an end that gives everything else meaning... And for my 100th post to be of a matter which concerns Death...

I find amusing, how the living can find glory and dignity in death... Those who died in battle are considered to be lucky, seeing as how they have died an honorable Death... We know hear of the dying to request to be allowed to die with some dignity...

There is no dignity in death... what happens after that is a matter of faith... but one thing is for certain... your physical shell rots, eaten away, slowly you disintegrate... there is no honor in death... there is no dignity... but one can indeed live with honor and dignity...

Being a Johanian all my life... the question of its importance was never much a concern to me... then... The government decided that it was best they sent me to UiTM instead of pursuing law in IIUM (come to think of it... I have had y fair share of public statements which make me liable for arrest under ISA... may be this is their way of getting to me... put me in an all bumiputera establishment) That was when i was introduced to the entire concept of “Malay Supremacy” and that how we are superior in terms of our rights... Article 154 became a study of interest for me.

Constitutionally speaking “Malay Supremacy” is not a “Right” it is instead a privilege, meaning it is subject to constitutional changes...

The concept of Malay Supremacy came up as a form of give and take... simply put, the malays will allow the immigrants at that time citizenship, in return they will recognize these special rights in which are given to the Malays. The state of inequality in which these rights promoted was to create a state of equality... a form of positive discrimination...

In which I believe will be and should be slowly taken away... To wait till equality is achieved and only then dissolve this rights is unimaginable... It is a truism in which there will always be approximate equality... there will always be a certain level of poverty...

For The record... Its Bumipuetra Rights... NOT Malay Rights

Of SPM

In light of recent happenings... Lets have a one way discussion on the concept of being free...

I do this in respect of the end of high-school for many... Some of which I honestly care about....

The thought of going to school... and SPM being the dreaded part of it all... the single examination that determines what happens for you in life.... that partly decides how what life has for you from that point forth...

Everyone looks forward to the end of that last paper in an examination schedule that spans for at least a months time... Eagerly awaiting the coming of that last paper... you plot and devise plans on what and how to proceed directly after that single point in the space-time continuum... with the belief that salvation comes directly after that last paper...

On a personal account... what happened to me directly after SPM was that Marvin, Hasan and I decided to take the train to KLCC... we all went to Starbucks... had a venti frapucinno each... the only thing we could say to each other was... Now What? God knows what Hasan did prior to completing SPM... but Marin and I got involved with The Illusion and after that I proceeded to working in an Apple Store in Pavilion, Bukit Bintang, and then I was shipped out for NS.

Fact of the matter is SPM is the only thing - Malaysia having an exam-oriented education system - that gave your high-school life substantial purpose... it was the sole reason that drove you to the the things you do... be it directly or indirectly... mainly because of the magnitude in which it carried for many... we all want to climd the societal ladder which dictates our lives...

So when you take SPM away... the single aspect in which gave 5 years of your life reason and meaning... a silly examination which you put your best foot forward for, that silly examination in which you placed a goal... this goal is what we consider to be a short-term goal in within a bigger plan... a mechanism to which we must go through in order to further ourselves... and once you take this away... once you walk past that point...

A feeling of emptiness subsides within yourself...

Now what?

Yes I do indeed have a phobia of not being able to do anything... I must do something.... even f i were to stay at home... I’d either be on WoW raiding, or trying to long on to WoW seeing as how the queue borders on insanity.... There was this once, I actualy had to wait for a whole hour to log on... Currently in conflict... should I continue to level my mage or do I instead opt to run about Azeroth with the Death Knight which renders everyone else F.U.B.A.R.

In life, there is always the temptation to do the things that you’re not supposed to. The flaw of humanity; it is fundamental in your psychological makeup to go against the music, defiance. The question is, should we succumb? Do we live by the rules which govern modern society or do we live by rules of our own?

I personally have little to no regard to societal rules, called me an anarchist if you want, but there are just some things I will not acknowledge. I live by my own set of rules, principles. The question is for how long one can remain as such. Immovable, incorruptible. On a cheesy aspect, the concept is simple, you either die a hero – holding on to what you believe in – or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Up till today, immovable and incorruptible is the way life is lead. Peer pressure becomes nothing more than a concept, a misconstrued belief. I’ve crossed over to the dark side and waltzed my way back.

Rule No. 1: Never apologize, simply acknowledge your mistakes.

Of recent occurrences

Been off to UiTM Shah Alam for the Vice-Chancellor’s Cup debate, can’t say the team did so well, on a more personal level, I came off with a total of 368 speaker points, which places me at 16 from a list of over a hundred debaters, not bad for a first time. But performance definitely did not meet the expected outcome.

Will definitely miss Alex Hakim, Sarah Yasmin, and Syam…

Looking forward to the coming semester; legal studies and debate.

I seem to really take my time when it comes to typing out blog posts. It is either because I no longer think my life is interesting, or the fact that I’ve just been too busy, or it might just be that I just don’t bother anymore. To narrow down the case, do you seriously think someone as self-centered and self-loving as I am is ever capable to consider myself uninteresting? The fact that I’m busy is just another lame excuse.

So currently I am typing in my room with absolutely no lights on mainly because everyone else is dead asleep... apparently my biological clock is a tiny bit off today seeing as how I fell asleep considerably early only to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to be reviewing badly written essays by my much “loved” classmates.

Dead busy with the CoLT multimedia presentation, been working on getting the footage the past couple of days and have decided to put the project to rest and have an attempt at studying for my upcoming finals. Currently expecting nothing less than a string of A’s, and my prospects do look good... so far.

Had a splendid time with an even more splendid bunch of people...

People may find it odd to have a debater/actor to be remarkably quiet and not vocal except for moments on stage or instances where he has a mike in his hand...

Simply put, I don’t talk a lot... though those who are close to may beg to differ, I only speak when there is a need for me to speak, other times I sit, observe and process... odd as it may be but I personally enjoy watching you lot go about your daily lives with your antics... remarkably amusing though admittedly at times it is at your expense.

So a statement to be made which concerns my Modus Operandi (M.O.) [ain’t that cool?] in which i execute to get what I want...

I do not wait to be given a task... If there is a role to be fulfilled I will step up and offer my services... I refuse to have to undertake a task which was forced upon me... Such an act I consider to be an insult to my understanding of my abilities... Let me rephrase that… have not posted something that looks so obvious that I have something to do with it

So basically, my Dad was in Kedah for the day… we went out to break fast with a whole bunch of other people…
The best part was… I actually managed to get myself in a bath… like an actual tub with warm water and bubbles and all the jazz.. and damn it felt soooo good… Food was just as well…
And I finally got my Sony Ericson back… it is just wonderful to have it back… finally I can go back to snapping pictures on my son… teeehee

A simple fact of life…

We work, obtain something like say a record as proof to what we have achieved, such evidence we use as a form of an application so that we are placed one step further in the societal ladder we diligently climb. Such an application is processed, and we are given options – paths so to speak – for us to take in order to ascend to another level.

For most if not all of us, plans have we made as we envision ourselves climbing steps made by society, we picture our ascension every step of the way. Yet after such detaled planning, life decides to throw a curve ball at us, and decides to put us in the opposite direction. Left with little choice we grudgingly thread the path. Believing that the grass is greener on the other side…

I should know, I was left in the same situation… but right now, I’m just gald things didn’t turn out the way I planned them to be… I’m just gladd to be where I am right now…

The one glaring difference when one compares Varsity with the years they spent in high school is the freedom one gets…

Trust me, the uniforms that you put on every morning as you prepare yourself for another day in school doesn’t make that big a difference… I mean seriously, freedom of expression? Article 19 Universal Declaration of Human Rights? I’ve actually been in debates over uniforms, and it is absolutely pointless. What you have on you does not matter, so long as you pay attention in class and understand what you’re supposed to. Forget uniforms… Do what you’re supposed to do, and do it right… and this is coming from the guy who wears his tracks and a plain white t-shirt to class with uncombed hair… but damn I looked good :P

So basically being in a University means that you manage your own time, nobody tells you what to do, and also the fact that you can skip classes as you please (just be prepared to face the music when you mess up)

Went to an audition for a role in a theatre performance, which was bad mainly cause the medium is in Malay, and we all know how well versed I am with the language. Met lots of nice people though… that always makes the day…

I will also be on my mid-semester break from the 15th to the 23rd of August… hope to see you lot soon…

It’s been a while since my last post. It has been a month and 15 days to be exact.

So basically this is a quick run thru to what has happened to me for the past month, first week was basically orientation which they referred to as Minggu Mesra Siswa or MMS for short. The normal procedural speeches and a few sessions meant to make a certain group of students more malay than what they are now. Highlights of the week would be me ending up as an EMCEE for the Vice Chancellor’s speech which was executed flawlessly and suave regardless of the pressure my partner and I was receiving from the program coordinator. I was also to be told that I am over-qualified to be in UiTM Kedah, the Law Coordinator told me that I ought to have received a place in UiTM Shah Alam instead, doing the accelerated programme but no matter, I shall be enjoying being in a programme for Dummies so-to-speak.

Classes began immediately the week after and my classes are as such, BEL120 (Simple English – I call this English for the Disabled), BEL130 (Communicative English – I call this one English for toddlers), MTC012 (An Introduction to Law – My favorite class by far), MTC016 (Malaysian Government and Politics – Am the personal consultant for the lecturer on this one xD), and CSC134 (Computer Science – which I call An Introduction to Computers for the Technologically UN-savvy).

Am also in the Debate Team… and blown the minds of many… and apparently that single appearance made me an ace in the University’s Vice Chancellor’s Cup line up… that performance also made yours truly the English Language Club’s (ELC) poster boy for public speaking (mind you I’m not in ELC). And Am also known to be the guy who uses huge words, I mean seriously, a totalitarian government is not a huge word, nor is consequentialism or altruism. *sigh*

Coming back for a week on the 15^th… hope to be able to catch up with you lot.

And oh yeah, it was my birthday on the sixth… I thank you all for the wishes… interestingly enough, on my birthday, the chair I was sitting on decided to give up on me and lost a leg while I was still on it. Had lunch alone, and had some stay for dinner… Peaceful bliss, what a way to mark me turning legal J

Mr Peter and his accomplices … are your skulls really that empty?

What is real?

Is it real when you feel it brush against your skin?

Is it real when you smell its sweet scent as it approaches?

Is it real when you hear its tender voice calling out for you?

So is it ever just another dream?

You see them vividly, its scent significantly magnified, the voices in which you hear pierce straight to your soul making your very being shiver, the buds in which you taste become more competent and every single grain has its own distinct taste making one different from the other, everything you touch its texture forever imprinted in your mind. The emotion in which one feels as one dreams is magnified to the extent where it brinks on the extreme… the fear, the pain, the joy, the pleasure, the anxiety…

So how does one tell which is real? The lives we live when we wake or the ones we live after we tuck ourselves in at night… Consider if the latter is that which is real, consider for once that the lives we live as we walk “awake” is a sham. What if dreams are indeed real and that reality is yet another dream. If life is yet another play, you would be in the same boring play – in which the case would be if we believe the life in which we lead is the one during our “waking” moments – a life with absolutes, a life with constants.

But if the opposite were true, if say the dreaming is reality and that if reality are merely constructions of our minds in which we return to, if that is the case, the number of plays we could be in are endless, we are ourselves and at the same time we are everything we could ever wish to be. The possibilities are limitless. A life of uncertainty, excitement, a life of extravagance.

At the end of every long day filled with excitement and possibilities, we are to retire, in which we dream. We dream of a life in which it is monotonous, we dream of ourselves in which we are awake and we lead lives, and this life we lead change at a pace so slow it takes a lifetime. A life with absolutes, a life with constants. We dream of the lives we lead, a life in which we are “awake”. Such dreams we need to keep our sanity – a place in which we are certain of whom we are and of who we are supposed to be – a place of comfort to which we return to after a long day of excitement and uncertainty. Of Letting Go and Moving On

You humans simply savour creating bonds of all sorts of relationships as you progress in life. In parallel you also continue to sever the bonds that you once formed. So for those of you humans with mad observation skills, you would by now have realised as how both the acts above that simultaneously occur are both contradictory of one another. With sheer logic – provided of course you have successfully managed to ascend to a higher plane and managed to acquire skills to advance logic (by which you are able to tell that 2 + 2 = more than 2) – you should manage to come to the conclusion to which the effects towards a person are also contradictory. How an act from the above would make one considerable elated the other would in turn make one considerably poignant – as to which makes one feel which I dare not hypothesize – so what an observer would casually wonder as to why you humans choose to religiously continue such a stale circle of events, and this observer believes that he has indeed come to a conclusion as to why you dimwits simply continue going round your stale roundabout.

You humans have this unnerving desire to feel pain… you want to be hurt… you want to suffer… that deep down under the smiles you plaster over your plasticized faces you want to simply cry and feel helpless… you need to feel weak… you need to feel the insignificance of your existence… you need to fall… it helps remind you of who you are…. Who you were… and who you’re going to be… feeling insignificant makes you feel at ease… it takes off the burden of which the whole world depends on you waking up the next morning… no matter how much you desire acknowledgement and power… deep down you will always want to hide and stay in your own hole minding your own business… living life one step at a time… utterly insignificant in the Divine Plan…

And as to why you form bonds… you form them to secretly savour breaking them at the end of the day… to savour the pain… and the feeling of helplessness… You do not want to let go… you do not want to move on… it hurts you… but deep down… you love every moment of it…

Seriously… We need a good revamp on which how education in Malaysia is approached… Basically everyone regardless whether or not they knew this confident (some say arrogant and I say semantics) has more than a rough idea on my views on the Malaysian Education System and I’m still surprised the ISA has yet to catch up with me :P

And Theng got a dose of resentments towards the system alongside Ilianna when they asked for help with their Malaysian Studies project :P

Everything good must come to an end

Endings...

Another in life’s long list of constants…

We face em on a regular daily basis… we grew up with endings happening all over the place… we have become so used to it we no longer notice them happening… we barely notice this important pivots in life… so much so we completely fail to comprehend its importance and how much it affects on life… We watch em in movies… we read them in novels (regardless how bad the novel is)… we hear of them in fairy tales and such…

So why does one need an ending???

An ending – as the very essence of the word indicates – provides one with closure, it –lacking any other word fit to describe it – marks an end to a certain aspect in ones life… An optimist would say it marks a new beginning in ones life but then again who has ever actually listened to one of those before… But just because something ends it doesn’t necessarily mean that it has a pessimistic connotation over the matter at hand…

Picture a journey with no end… why even bother continuing the journey if it was to never end? Why not just stop and enjoy what one has and just settle down? The very reason to which would drive one to take the choice of settling down is for one to enjoy and savor what one has worked for ones lifetime before one kicks the bucket… Endings give the story a meaning… the journey on which one has traversed gives one satisfaction upon ones arrival at ones destination… and most importantly death gives meaning to life… so for those of you who dream of immortality, I say screw it and just enjoy life as you wait for it to come to an end… and to those optimists who say endings mark a new beginning, I dare say they quite enjoy the little endings they go through in life in which one can further postulate they look forward to dying… now that doesn’t sound very optimistic now does it???

Life Without Death is Meaningless

I posed a question to two different “test subjects” (other people would call them friends… god knows why they do such atrocious things) I asked what were you to do if left in a situation in which nobody gets out of it alive.

Test subject A replied “I’d just say thank goodness I had a wonderful life”

Test subject B replied “I’d stop wherever I am and not move forward the slightest bit”

Obviously the person to date here would be test subject A… one learns to embrace death has learned how to live ones life… Test Subject B on the other hand suffers from a complex in which one is never satisfied with what has happened and constantly asks to oneself what if I did this and that differently… Death gives life meaning and from that we postulate that for one to properly live one must die… another in life’s long list of irony…

The question of dating these test subjects I mentioned is completely immaterial to the grander scheme of things… exposing their identity would be a breach of an unsigned contract… and as to commenting on their gender would be highly unprofessional and sexist of me… sides you can never be too sure these days… In simpler and politically incorrect terms I’m just being an ass simply because I can… :P

I am BACKKKKKK from freaking boot camp…

Definitely exaggerating but yes people… I am back from NS… and not cause of some other interview… this time I’m back for good… basically told them how I’m “going” for Matriculation… but seriously… and arty geek like me in one of those horrid places… *gasp*

National Service… what can I say… an utter waste of time… which is precisely why everyone should go for it…

Now seriously… it is in my “humble” opinion that the National Service Programme is AN UTTER WASTE OF TIME AND RESOURCES…

Alrighttttt… Now I’m serious about being serious… so NS is basically divided into distinct modules, the physical module and the Multi-skill module… and in my personal and very much so “humble” opinion is A COMPLETE UTTER WASTE OF TIME…

OKAYYYYY… Time to be seriously serious about being completely and utterly serious…

well the physical module is indeed fun… basically we had a silly obstacle course, repelling, flying fox and of course the over-rated COLT M-16 handling… whilst on the other hand the multi-skills module was – and I’m being completely nice here – like sending me back to pre-school… seriously…. I mean I do get what those silly games are supposed to do to us… but seriously… we’re 18 year olds…. I mean we don’t need to go through kindergarten all over again… what we need is a good kick… so yeah…. Screw the damn module and kick em into gear… stop wasting your time people… these people are the nation's future… they need to be kicked into shape… so go ahead (especially since I’m no longer in your silly program)

So yes I’m back and I seriously do like the hair… and I am so totally back on stage enjoying myself once more… and of course… I do have scripts stashed waiting to be performed…

And oh yeah… I plan on performing an episode of Blackadder on stage… interested anyone?

This is the post many have been waiting for… my bloody SPM results eh???

So ya, I scored an 8 outta 12 A’s which in my opinion kicked ass seeing as how much fooling around I did last year :P and that for some reason convinced my parents that they ought to reward me... so yes, I somehow convinced them to buy me a laptop... and I convinced them to get me a MacBook...

So now WHY A MACBOOK?

Politically correct answer :Its a powerful machine and i just love OS X

The real answer is : Its sleek and shiny... I like... (now I sound like Jean :P)

I have decided to not help the drama team with any script preparation this year… The politically correct answer for me to give is that its meant to be a ground for students to learn how to express themselves through theatre but we all know that’s just bullshit… the main reason is that I just couldn’t care less about the “English Department” I would have had no qualms about helping them if Miss Ellina was still teacher advisor… but with new people in it and someone sarcastically commenting “we’ll start early this year” so gentlemen and ladies… being the sadistic man that I can be at times I’m just gonna leave them be and see how far they go… and yes, my over-creative imagination will not be put to good use for the Saint John’s Institution Drama Team this year, but that does not mean that I won’t be writing… I shall continue to write… I’m just not gonna do anything for the team this year… I shall go through the script I was sent and maybe write a review on it… but I shall NOT edit it…

Moving on…. I went to catch Uncut Untitled Paper House which in my personal opinion is retardedly awesome… oh ya… I went for it twice… during the opening night and the third night… and it was definitely worth it… special thanks to Johann for giving me complimentary ickets for the opening night :P

I’m leaving for NS on Tuesday… and my bags are indeed packed… and my room, for the first time in many years, looks retarded-ly clean…

Astounding win for the opposition...

Congratulations....

Lets just hope we do see some change in the nation...

for the better of course...

and I shall be voting in the 13th General elections... now that is something I personally look forward to...

Not denying the fact that much has been done for the nation...

But admittedly the past four years has not been as productive as it could have been....

It is time for change indeed... nad the mosty obvious would be the lack of jokes we make about Samy Vellu

We shall observe the former-opposition currently government for Selangor, Perak, Penang and Kedah... and of course they still reign in Kelantan... If change does come then the voters indeed shall vote for the current government... If not... then the votes shall definitely go to the opposition again... It is not a 2/3 win... it can still go either way... not much change can be made to the constitution with that ratio in the parliament... the least we hope to see improvements towards our nation's infrastructure and of course how money is being handled...

Lets see what the next 5 years has in store for us...

I have not been posting for quite some time... mainly cause I've got better things to do...

The 30th SEA FORENSICS is finally over... I'm not as happy as I could be with the results of the Solo Acting Finals but what's done is done...

Was nice to be able to go back to ISKL and meet up with all of me old friends... was splendid to see Denise again and just gossip =P

Straight after the FORENSICS I went straight bsck to work the very next day which was awesome...

My personal sales went sky-high where for the first time I actually sold over RM11000 worth of stuff, but the best part was as I was on the phone with Denise, someone came up behind me and just grabbed on my glasses...

"Denise I gotta go, I saw someone I like"

How surprised I was to see Jean at Pavilion.... that really made my day =)

ah well, now I'm back at work, which sucks as all hell seeing as how I have yet a single customer for the day... we'll see... maybe Jean's gonna pop up again =P

Picking The Brain of The Scriptwriter

Currently attempting to pen own another script, this script was an original idea I had for last years play, but I suppose we shall all see how this one turns out...

But as always before I start on a new project, I shall give the last project proper closure..

The following is the Author's Notes for KL's Best Script 2007 which was christened "Speak For Yourself" and later christened "Questionable Motives: Everyone Has A Rent To Pay"

Authour's Notes "Questionable Motive: Everyone Has A Rent To Pay"

What Put "Questionable Motives" In A League Of Its Own

As the script was written, the only thought the author had in his mind was to allow enough space for character development. Character development was not only applied to the antagonist nor the protagonist, but of every single character in the play.

An attempt to achieve this, the attention of the audience was not brought straight to the antagonist instead of the protagonist when the scene first began and that the protagonist’ lines only came in at the middle of the script, this was to allow sufficient character development of the antagonist. When you compare any other script, the attention of the audience was brought straight to the protagonist of the play and that would last all the way till the end of the play. which basically meant the obvious character development throughout the play was only a[plied on the protagonist

The author also tried to achieve this by making sure every single actor that got on the stage would have their own lines to say, that every single character that was penned down would have their own history, that everyone has their own reason for being in the scene at that very moment and that each actor had a history of their own which allowed a certain amount of depth to every single character. The lines in the play was spread evenly amongst the actors, though admittedly the hostages and the police officers did not have as many lines as the others did, but they still had their share to of the spotlight.

The author believes that a play should not only tell a single story, this is what is most commonly done, that the play would revolve on the protagonist and that the whole play would be his/her story, but in “Questionable Motives” every single character had their own story to tell, making it a layered cake giving depth to the script. The main reason in which why the author attempted this was that he wanted to discard the common look of a school play which is usually a team consisting of a group of people with single actor. this style instead allowed to show that this was a team of 15 actors working with each, which was an attempt to prove to the adjudicators, that this is indeed a team of actors who are all capable of delivering a performance and not just a team that had only a single actor in it.

Scripts would usually begin with a slow tempo where the character’s were slowly developed over the period of time, but this script began on a very intense note which was the intention of the author to grab the attention of the audience the minute the curtains opened and as well as it worked when the actors performed the piece on stage, the technique indeed worked in grabbing the attention of the audience. the challenging part was that for the author to maintain the atmosphere throughout the whole play until the piece reached its resolution and of course making room for character development and ample space to allow the intensity of the atmosphere to be felt.

Special thanks to Marvin Wong for going through and editing the script, and all the actors and those involved with the play...

But before I sign off, admit it people, you couldn’t have pulled it off without me and my pretty black pen... and face it, the three page draft passed to me was completely ripped apart and the whole story retold =P

find the lower secondary idiots annoying as all hell... but what the hell...
Its nice being around chess players again... so glad to be able to say sicilian or french defence with out getting the look from other people...

was insanely tiring... ten hours on your feet... but damn is it worth it... Imagine this... you get to have as much fun as you want with the iTouch... insanely awesome... I love its interface... Kick ass I tell ya... Managed Rm1076 in sales... damn the products sell for themselves

Drama Madness ~ Wrote the script solo with fundamentals from Kevin. Completely ripped apart their original draft... sorry but it really sucked. Marvin helped with the editing
~ Won prelims eventhough Marvin said bastard on stage, I messed up my lines, Kevin messed up his as well and we exceeded by a minute, but we still managed to get the first placing *grins*

~ Became state champions, Best Script Award, and The BEST ACTOR AWARD Wheeeeee~ still remember when they announced it... It was like Anugerah Best Performer jatuh kepada... *drumroll* Craig and I went WHAT THE FUCK!!! and started looking for the bastard who got the award to go on stage and then suddenly they go MUHAMMAD IZZAT BIN FAUZAN Thats him alright =P

and that was I went FUCK seriously??!! and jumped off my chair and did my bows and later the obvious =P
